I’ve been called the “Computer Whisperer” by my colleagues. I have a natural talent for making computers obey. That is after all, according to Issac Asimov, what computers should do. My primary talents lie in Microsoft Office (Publisher, Word, PowerPoint, Excel… and to a lesser degree, Access) and Adobe Photoshop.
I can create elegant spreadsheets in excel designed to track information, extract information, or push information around. I can create flyers, brochures, business cards, posters, advertisements, invitations to weddings, birthday parties, events, or showers. I can touch up and edit photographs or images in Photoshop. I can edit communications, memos, letters, presentations and emails for spelling, grammar or awkward sentence structure. I am a skilled internet researcher with the determination to sift through the irrelevent and bizarre to find what is needed. My PowerPoint presentations are professional, clean, and graphically appealing without being cluttered by distracting animation or jumpy text.
I have the computer skills and patience to get the job done well. I have the skills and you need them. Let me know what I can do to make you look good at your job.
Billing rates are flexible and determined by the length and complexity of the job. I’m shortly going to be unemployed due to layoffs and union seniority rules. (My position stayed, my boss wanted me to, and I wanted to… but without the years of seniority… I can not. *sigh*) So… what does that mean for you? It means (As of June 30th, 2009) I’m willing to negotiate to fit your budget. <grin>
